2015 Cabernet Sauvignon

In 2015 we saw the smallest yields on record for Kamen Estate. The result – an inky, saturated purple-black Cabernet Sauvignon with absolutely massive and concentrated aromatics. Ripe boysenberry, blackberry liqueur, fresh wildflowers and tobacco. The layers of aromatics continue with black cardamom, new suede, sun-baked river rocks and cola.

The palate is precise, structured and luscious. Ripe black and purple fruit flavors glide across the tongue, the tannins are candied and sultry and the acid in perfect harmony with this full-bodied powerhouse. With a finish that just won't quit this wine is approachable now with the ability to cellar over the next three decades.
