Tasting Notes

Notes of brambly blackberry, fresh raspberry, graphite, black tea, cranberry, violets and milk chocolate reveal first. Tobacco leaf, crushed rock, black cardamom and chaparral add sophisticated nuance and character. Less extracted than previous vintages, the 2020 Kamen Cabernet is an elegant expression of the Moon Mountain District. The palate has layers of black cherry, currant, red raspberry and cappuccino pinned together by the hallmark notes of violets and minerality this estate is known for. Delicious right out of the gate, enjoy now and over the next several years.
